With improved internet connections it is now so simple to form a session online and this form of therapy can help people who have limited time or who are less mobile, perhaps during times of illness or who just don’t want to travel, and there are no worries about parking or finding my therapy room.

Apart from reliable WiFi, the only thing to think about is where you would like to be in your home. A quiet, comfy place is ideal and somewhere you won’t be disturbed, just have a blanket with you to keep warm. Any noise from other parts of the house will not affect the session. One of the benefits of hypnotherapy is that it helps you to block out external, unimportant stimulus and focuses your attention where it is needed. Any pets are welcome that enjoy relaxing with you, but it is inadvisable for children during the therapy.
If during the hypnosis part of the session the signal is lost, it won’t affect the trance, you will quickly be able to reconnect and fall back to the place you left, just like interrupting a movie to make a cup of tea. And there are various other platforms to switch to quickly, as back up if the problem continues.
